Outer Rim, which launches on March 22 for people who own the Battlefront $50 DLC pass, comes with four new maps set on Sullust and Tatooine. The new mode is called Extraction, which challenges Rebel forces to extract resources to a transport ship before time runs out or the Empire wipes them out.

Additionally, Outer Rim comes with the following weapons and Star Cards:

  • Relby V-10 rifle
  • DT-12 blaster pistol
  • Scatter Gun (Star Card)
  • Dioxis Grenade (Star Card)
  • Adrenaline Stim (Star Card)

Outer Rim will be available for people who don’t own Battlefront’s DLC pass on April 5 across Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC. It will be followed by other expansions Bespin (summer 2016), Death Star (fall 2016), and an untitled fourth add-on coming in early 2017.

Outer Rim, and the three other expansions, are included with the $50 Battlefront DLC pass or can be purchased individually for the reported price of $15.

Battlefront launched in November 2015 and has shipped more than 13 million copies, outperforming EA’s expectations. Multiple sequels could be coming, according to comments from management.
