Street Fighter 5 Gets 3GB PS4 Update

The beta for Capcom’s upcoming fighting game Street Fighter V has just received a massive new update on PlayStation 4. As reported on Eventhubs, the update is 3GB large and brings the beta version of the game to 1.08. There has been no confirmation of an update of the beta on Steam.

It shouldn’t come as a surprise that Capcom are possibly preparing to run another stress test online, since the game launches on February 16 in Europe and North America for PlayStation 4 and PC. The game will allow for cross-play between both platforms. The last beta which ran included new characters Necalli and Laura.

Check out the characters who have been confirmed for the game so far in our gallery. After the game launches, Alex, Guile, Ibuki, Balrog, Juri, and Urien will be released as new characters. Each one can be earned by gameplay for free, or purchased for immediate access using real-world money. Players who wish to use them immediately can purchase the 2016 Season Pass, which is available to pre-purchase now in North America.
