We don’t know about you, but the cold winter weather makes us want to stay indoors and do one thing: play games! As we head home for the holidays, the StarCraft Community team wants you to join us in a big traditional gaming session.

We’ll be hosting the ‘Arcade Holiday Marathon’ this Friday, December 20 from 19:00 until 07:00 CET on the US client version. If you were able to join us for our last Arcade Night, then you’ve already got a good idea of what to expect. We’ll have the Blizzard Community team online all day, and we’ll be playing Arcade games along with special guests from the StarCraft II community. As we get closer to the end of the week, we’ll post a schedule so you can see what to expect.

We also want to deliver an early gift! As you know, the Arcade will become completely free with the launch of our next content patch. Until that time, we still have the ability to flag individual Arcade games and make them available to play via the StarCraft II Starter Edition. So why not let you, the community of players, tell us what you’d like us to add to that list?

On Friday, during the event, we’ll ask you to decide which game we’ll play next. At the end of the day, all of the games you chose will be made FREE to anyone through the free Starter Edition.
