The Division Servers Back Online With Big Changes

Following a roughly three-hour period of downtime for maintenance this morning, The Division‘s servers should now be back online across Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC.

The game returns to operation with some major changes through update 1.02. As explained yesterday, the patch fixes a number of bugs (bye, bye, Loot Cave) and tweaks numerous aspects of the game. You can see the full 1.02 patch notes here in our previous coverage.

Ubisoft even cracked a joke about The Division’s Destiny-esque Loot Cave, which allowed players to farm high-level gear until it was patched out today. The developer shared this silly image on Twitter of the worldboss in question, Bullet King.

While maintenance is ongoing, we want to take a moment to say farewell to the Bullet King. pic.twitter.com/gsIcixEDjE

In other news about The Division, the game brought in $330 million in revenue over its first five days, eclipsing Destiny’s mark over the same period of time. Additionally, one player hasreached the Dark Zone’s level cap of 99 after playing for 130 hours.
