Alongside its earnings report today, Nintendo updated its sales charts for Wii U and 3DS software, revealing the first-party games that have sold the best worldwide as of December 31, 2015.
On Wii U, Mario Kart 8 leads the way with 7.24 million copies sold. This includes copies sold as part of bundles, as well as digital games. Rounding out the top five were New Super Mario Bros. U (5.08 million), Nintendo Land (5.02 million), Super Mario 3D World (4.63 million) and Super Smash Bros. (4.61 million).
On the 3DS side, Pokemon X/Y unsurprisingly stands on top with 14.46 million copies sold across both versions.

In terms of business performance, for the nine-month period ended December 31, Nintendo revenue declined 3.9 percent while profit slumped by a significant 36.5 percent.
