Respawn has updated the Titanfall servers with a number of balancing adjustments and bug fixes.
If you felt like the game’s Smart Pistol (which locks on to enemies automatically over time) was a little overpowered, you’re not alone. Respawn has decreased both the damage the Smart Pistol does when not locked on to a Pilot, and its hip-fire accuracy. Other noticeable changes to balancing include a more noticeable damage indicator from Electric Smoke and an increased score limit in Attrition mode.
As far as bug fixes, Respawn said it addressed several rare server issues restarting the game into the lobby, instances in which players could get stuck in level geometry, certain burn cards not being applied properly, and other issues.
You can find the full list of changes from Respawn’s forums below.
Last week at GDC, Xbox’s Phil Spencer told us that Titanfall’s launch for Xbox One this month helped Xbox Live on enjoy its “biggest week in terms of users and usage.”
