Transformers Universe’s closed beta has started, but spaces are limited

You can now sign up to enter Transformers Universe’s closed beta, which kicked off this weekend, developer Jagex has announced.

Jagex said that it will only choose a “select few” to be the first group of players in the world to get hands-on with the new game. You can sign up for the beta on the game’s official site by first choosing between the Decepticons and Autobots and entering your email address. Jagex says that even if you don’t make it into the beta during this initial round, it plans to expand the beta soon.

Jagex also used the opportunity to reveal two new playable characters, Front-Line, a big Autobot brawler, and Conduit, a Decepticon healer, both of which are introduced in the videos below.

Formerly an MMO, Transformers Universe recently reintroduced itself as a “fast-paced, battle-centric, tactical action game” with modes tailored to core and casual gamers alike, as well as Transformers enthusiasts. As a commander of a squad of bots, you’ll recruit, maintain, and battle other players.
