Legendary Entertainment has published the first TV spot for Warcraft, the upcoming film based on Blizzard Entertainment’s juggernaut Warcraft video game franchise. The 30-second video is mostly made up of footage from November’s debut trailer. Check it out below.
Legendary published the video today, January 24, ahead of the big NFL football games later this afternoon and this evening. It’s possible this video will also air during those national broadcasts.
Warcraft is directed by Duncan Jones, who previously made the acclaimed sci-fi movies Moon and Source Code. It stars Dominic Cooper, Paula Patton, Ben Foster, Toby Kebbel, and Clancy Brown.
The film has had a lengthy production process–the 123 day shoot wrapped in May 2014, and the original release date of December 2015 has shifted twice, to the current date of June 10, 2016.
Jones also shared some behind-the-scenes images from Warcraft on Twitter.
