WCS Europe Regional Finals Live May 25 & 26

The competition in WCS Europe Premier League over the past few weeks has been fierce, and when the dust settled, Starcraft II players from Germany, Russia, Spain and France topped their round of 16 groups last week. Representatives from Korea, Ukraine and Denmark also advanced, rounding out the final 8 players that will battle at the WCS Europe Regional Finals Regional Finals at ESL TV Studio One in Cologne, Germany. The winner will take home the $20,000 first place prize, as well as 1,500 WCS Points which will push them up the current 2013 WCS Leaderboard, and help boost their chances to earn a seat at the Grand Finals, held at BlizzCon in November.

The shoutcasting team of James 'Kaelaris' Carrol and Shaun 'Apollo' Clark will be back in the studio, along with host Paul ’Redeye’ Chaloner, and a live studio audience. Games begin at 13:00 p.m. CEST on May 25 and 12:00 p.m. CEST on May 26, but make sure to catch the finals at 21:15 p.m. CEST on May 26 to find out who gains the title of WCS Europe Premier League Season 1 Champion. The top 5 players will advance to the cross-region 2013 WCS Season 1 Finals in Seoul, South Korea. You can tune in at twitch.tv/wcs or, if you are in the Cologne area, purchase tickets to be part of the in-studio audience.
