Halo 5 Makes $400 Million, Declared Biggest Halo Launch Ever

Microsoft announced this week that Halo 5: Guardians generated more than $400 million in revenue in the week since launch, outpacing sales of Halo 4 to become the biggest launch in Halo history. [Full story]
First Warcraft Movie Trailer Finally Arrives
BIG STUFF:
Blizzard and Legendary finally released the first trailer for their upcoming fantasy adventure movie Warcraft, which of course is based on the popular game. Watch it here.
Fallout 4 + Destiny
Fallout 4’s new gunplay and shooting mechanics were modeled after Destiny’s, Bethesda said this week. That’s probably not a bad thing, as Destiny is believed by many to have some of the best gunplay in all of games. Bethesda even hired a Bungie designer to work on Fallout 4’s shooting systems. A New Microsoft Wearable
Did you see the movie Her? Well, it looks like Microsoft may be working on an earpiece device similar to what was seen in that movie. According to an unverified report, Microsoft is developing a wearable “clip” that goes in your ear. It reportedly uses the Cortana digital assistant to help you do stuff. [Full story]
New Hateful Eight Trailer
A new trailer for Quentin Tarantino’s eighth movie, The Hateful Eight, came online this week. The film stars Kurt Russell, Jennifer Jason Leigh, Samuel L. Jackson, Bruce Dern, Tim Roth, and Michael Madsen. It tells the story of eight strangers who take shelter in a Wyoming stagecoach stopover during a heavy blizzard. Check it out here.
New Quantum Break Details
Game Informer‘s December issue (available now to subscribers) features an in-depth story on the development of Quantum Break. The time-bending Xbox One game is part video game, part TV show.
Don’t Cheat
Bungie is coming down hard on repeat Destiny cheaters. The company has announced that it is handing out multi-month bans for Trials of Osiris cheaters. Learn more here.

Capcom is opening a “Capcom Cafe” in Japan. It’s described as an “experiential restaurant” that will will also sell all kinds of Capcom merchandise and memorabilia. [Full story]
More Forza 6 DLC
New DLC is now available for Xbox One racing game Forza 6 in the form of the eBay Motors Car Pack. It introduces a handful of new cars and more. Read more about it on Microsoft’s website.
Don’t expect wireless PC VR anytime soon, according to Oculus Rift creator Palmer Luckey. In a series of tweets, the 22-year-old billionaire said cables will remain a major “obstacle” for years to come. [Full story]

Trackmania VR
Ubisoft’s racing game Trackmania Turbo is getting VR support, the publisher has announced. It will support both Oculus Rift and PlayStation 4 starting in 2016. [Full story]

Dang, this is a good deal on a new PS4. According to this leaked Sam’s Club advertisement, the retailer will offer the system for $300 next week.
StormBorn
JuiceBox Games has released its next game, a mobile hero-based RPG called StormBorn: War of Legends. It’s a collectible card game with RPG elements–not unlike the wildly successful Hearthstone. The free game is available now on iTunes and Google Play.
New Contra Game…But
A new Contra game is in development. But it’s only coming to China right now as part of a publishing deal between Konami and Tencent. [Full story]
