Fallout 4’s Vault-Tec Workshop expansion, which lets you build a vault, fill it with dwellers, and then conduct experiments on them, will launch on July 26, Bethesda said this week. It costs $5 and will be available on PS4, Xbox One, and PC. [Full story]

Trulia has put together five different interactive maps that show off where in the US you might have the best luck when searching for Pokemon. Check out this blog post to see the maps, which show off the “hotspots” across the US for Electric, Fire, Grass, Psychic, and Water Pokemon types.

Pokemon at Area 51?

What happens when you go to Area 51 in search of Pokemon? That’s what the folks at FragHero did recently. Here’s what they found.

Texas Twitch

Video streaming giant Twitch opened an office in Austin, Texas this week.

“Twitch’s focus on Austin is based on the city’s creative culture and deep pool of engineering and developer talent, including many prominent software and hardware development studios,” the company said about the new office.

Mixed-Media

Microsoft may have shuttered Xbox Entertainment Studios, but the company isn’t ruling out a new “mixed-media” project in the future along the lines of Quantum Break. Xbox boss Shannon Loftis told The Guardian that she would “love” to work on another project like this in the future.

Rule 34

Pokemon Go is taking the world by storm, and that includes the porn world. Searches for “Pokemon” on Pornhub rocketed this past week by more than 130 percent. Check out this VentureBeat story to learn more.

More DLC

New DLC is out now for racing game Forza 6 in the form of the Turn 10 Select Car Pack. It adds “one of the most diverse collections of cars ever seen in Forza history.” As the name suggests, all of the cars were picked by developer Turn 10 itself. Bernie Slanders and Barack Obummer

It’s that time of year. November’s big election is coming out, so of course there are new games coming out around it. One of them, Kongregate’s Pocket Politics, parodies the whole thing, featuring characters like “Bernie Slanders” and “Barack Obummer.” Here’s the description:

“Enlist the help of lobbies in order to raise money for your political campaigns. However, lobbies won’t be enough to get you to the top by themselves. Zombie Castaways Proves Popular

Mobile game Zombie Castaways, which aims to show the “softer side of zombie life,” passed 2 million downloads around the world in its first month, developer Vizor Interactive has announced. You can learn more about it at the game’s Facebook page here.
