Devil’s Third may have reviewed poorly, but that doesn’t mean people aren’t willing to pay a high price to own it. Several Ebay users are buying the game for upwards of $100.
Earlier in the week, Game Informer reported that a buyer had purchased the Wii U-exclusive for $180, despite it being available digitally on the Wii U eShop for $59.99. It’s currently sold out at GameStop and Best Buy.
Currently, Devil’s Third Ebay listings show that it’s still selling for a premium, reaching as high as $150 just yesterday. The most recent auction as of now sold for over $120.
It was rumored that Nintendo had been distancing itself from Devil’s Third. The company didn’t seem to produce many copies, as it’s apparently very hard to find.
It received a score of 3 in GameSpot’s review, which said it’s nearly impossible to recommend despite its wonderfully weird multiplayer modes and occasional laughs. Our sister site Metacritic has it sitting at 44 out of 100 based on 49 reviews.
