This past weekend, it seemed all eyes were on Sony thanks to the announcement-heavy PlayStation Experience event in Las Vegas, where we learned and saw more of the PS4‘s 2015 lineup. But next year will also be a big year for Microsoft and the Xbox One, executive Phil Spencer reminds fans.

Halo 5 is one of Xbox One’s biggest 2015 exclusives

Writing on Twitter, Spencer said PlayStation Experience was a “nice event,” and a “good way” for Sony to celebrate 20 years of the PlayStation brand.

He said he watched the event, and thought it was well done. At the same time, however, Spencer said: “I feel good about 2015 for Xbox.”

He added: “I’m very confident in our 2015 exclusives. Some have been announced, some have not. 2015 will be a good year for Xbox fans.”

Some of the biggest 2015 platform-exclusives include Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End and Bloodborne for PS4 and Halo 5: Guardians and Rise of the Tomb Raider for Xbox One

Another fan asked Spencer if Microsoft would consider establishing its own dedicated conference similar to PlayStation Experience. He said this is possible, though if it were to happen, it wouldn’t come at the expense of Microsoft’s efforts at E3 and Gamescom, Spencer said.

“I liked the X0 events. Maybe have our own dedicated event would be better,” he said. “But having a great E3 and Gamescom is important.”
