Xbox One Elite Controller Sells Out, Facing "Limited Supply" Through November

Microsoft’s $150 Xbox One Elite controller launched last week alongside Halo 5: Guardians. The premium price tag did not keep people away, as retailers sold through their stock quickly. Although shipments are arriving at retailers every week, supply will be “limited” through November, Microsoft has warned.

“We’re thrilled at the amount of interest we’ve received for the Xbox Elite Wireless Controller,” a Microsoft representative told GamesBeat. “We are working quickly to get more units of the Xbox Elite Wireless Controller in the hands of fans, and look forward to replenishing inventory in time for the holidays.”

Alternatively, you can buy the new $500 Xbox One Elite model that launches today, November 3, which comes with a 1 TB console and the unique, transforming controller.

In a separate statement to Polygon, a Microsoft representative said that Xbox One Elite controller is “sold out in many retailers around the world.” The company expects “more units to arrive at retailers each week but supply may be limited through November.”
