Top Xbox boss Phil Spencer, who oversees all of Microsoft’s gaming endeavors, has again apologized for Halo: The Master Chief Collection‘s ongoing matchmaking issues. The Xbox One game, which was released three weeks ago, is still in rough shape for some, with players continuing to report longer-than-expected wait times to find a match and uneven teams when games are eventually found.
“I apologize for the issues,” Spencer said on Twitter to a fan. “343 Industries is 100% committed to fixing and make it right for fans.”
Immediately following The Master Chief Collection’s release on November 11, players reported various matchmaking issues. Microsoft and 343 Industries have been quick to respond, and numerous updates have been released in hopes of improving the experience. The overall matchmaking experience has gotten better since launch, but it remains unreliable for some.
The Master Chief Collection’s latest patch was deployed on November 27, though 343 Industries cautions that it still has more work to do. For more on The Master Chief Collection, check out GameSpot’s review.
