The PC version of Rise of the Tomb Raider will launch in January 2016. That’s according to the adventure game’s listing on digital distribution platform Steam (via NeoGAF). A more specific release date is not shown on the page. It only says “January 2016.”
Neither Crystal Dynamics nor Square Enix have announced an official release date for the PC version. Officially, the PC edition of Rise of the Tomb Raider is coming sometime “early 2016.”
Earlier this month, a listing for Rise of the Tomb Raider’s PC version on Amazon France (via IGN) showed that the game would be out on January 29, 2016.
Last year, there was some confusion about whether Rise of the Tomb Raider would ever make it to non-Xbox platforms. It was announced at Gamescom as an “Xbox exclusive,” but Xbox boss Phil Spencer later clarified that it was merely a timed exclusive, meaning it could come to other platforms after an unspecified amount of time
Rise of the Tomb Raider, which launched in November for Xbox One and Xbox 360, is also coming to PlayStation 4 during holiday 2016.
